Eyke will be looking to fill seven vacant councillor posts at the forthcoming election on 2nd May.

This is an opportunity to be involved in the life of the village and to influence decision making over the next few years, both within the village and in the wider community, as the new East Suffolk Council evolves and we form fresh partnerships with other villages in the new Deben ward.

The Notice of Election will be published on 15th March and nomination packs are now available at:

www.eastsuffolk.gov.uk/elections/election-notices-and-results/east-suffolk-council-elections/thursday-2-may-2019-east-suffolk-council-parish-elections/

Completed forms have to be with East Suffolk Council by 4pm on Wednesday, 3rd April.

However, for your convenience, they can be returned to the clerk, by 25th March, as she has a booked appointment to deliver completed papers on 26th March.

Please let her know if you intend to do this: eyke.pc@hotmail.co.uk

She can also supply you with electoral roll numbers.
